Pet Sitting Testimonials

“Peggy has a wonderful way with dogs.  I had the opportunity to observe her walking other neighborhood dogs prior to hiring her and I was impressed with the total attention, time and care she gave the different dogs she walked.  She isn’t the dog walker who keeps a timer and is all about “getting in and getting out.”  She genuinely loves each of the dogs she walks and gives them affection and love as she greets, walks and says goodbye to them.  She leaves a detailed note of her time with your dog that always leaves a smile on my face.  I couldn’t trust anyone more with my Zoey!”

“Peggy Baum was more than a dogwalker for our beloved Joni. She was a true caretaker for the final year of her life. Joni left the world gracefully at the age of 17, and Peggy was a huge part in nurturing her, noticing things we did not notice, anticipating her needs and offering excellent suggestions, and more importantly, loving her. The best part is that Joni clearly brought Peggy just as much joy. What more can one ask for in a caretaker for their canine companion?
Peggy is warm, reliable, detail-oriented, and definitely goes beyond the call of duty every time. Her presence in our dog’s life – and our life – was a blessing. Everyone should be so lucky.”

“I love ‘Woofs, Wags & Whiskers…’ which is owned and solely operated by Peggy Baum!  I am a volunteer for a local rescue organization.  I foster and care for abandoned, abused, and homeless dogs. Due to the trauma and pain a lot of these animals have endured, I want to ensure that they get the optimum care when I have to be away from them.  That includes my desire for them to always be in a well-balanced environment, one that is conducive to promoting the healing of the emotional, physical, and social well-being of my foster animals.  That is where ‘Woofs, Wags & Whiskers Pet Services’ comes into our lives.
Whenever I go on vacation or away from the home for an extended period of time, I could return my foster pets to my organization’s kennel for FREE housing.  But, I prefer to hire ‘Woofs, Wags & Whiskers Pet Services.’
Whether it is hourly, daily, and/or overnight visits, I have the confidence and peace of mind knowing that my foster dogs are receiving the best care and quality attention that they need, deserve, and desire.  Peggy truly loves and takes care of each of these animals as if they were her own and it is evident that they love her too!!!!!!
Peggy has built her business and reputation on years of trustworthy care and on her high quality voluntary services that she continues to render to abandoned and abused animals in Maryland and Florida.
I like her personal touches such as the written diary of the pet’s activities, excellent recommendations regarding how to care for pets, positive methods for correcting negative behaviors, and other special touches, such as one-on-one care for your pet/s, that kennels do not offer.
I cannot think of another pet service nor kennel that can provide such excellent individualized pet care at such reasonable and fair prices.  I would not hesitate to recommend ‘Woofs, Wags & Whiskers…’ to all my friends and associates,  In fact, I do!!!!!”

“I have a 4-year-old pug who is anxious when left alone.  He has done a complete 180 since Peggy started walking him almost two years ago. I now come home each day to a calmer, happier pug.  Peggy also takes extra time to leave a note daily letting me know how the walk went and if there was anything that I should keep an eye on or be concerned about. It is a very nice touch and I look forward to reading her notes and hearing about Bean’s day.  What a relief to know that Bean is safe, happy and in such good hands while I am away at work!”

“Peggy has become a real friend to us and our dog, Harlie.  Peggy not only makes sure Harlie gets the most out of the walk (exercise, exploration, and socialization with other dogs and people), but she also looks out for the pup’s health and development.  Getting feedback and suggestions from Peggy, based on her observations of Harlie’s behavior and attitude each day, is very valuable to us since we spend so much of our day away at work.  If Harlie isn’t feeling well or isn’t behaving normally, we can pass that info along to Peggy.  She keeps an eye out for any change, and lets us know in detailed notes how the session went.  We know Harlie looks forward to the exact day and time that Peggy visits.  We are happy to recommend Peggy’s services to anyone looking for generous, heartfelt, and conscientious care of their pet.”
